VANS Launch 2016 “Off The Wall Campaign”

2016 marks the 50th anniversary of this dynamic and influential skate fashion brand. Arguably vans are the original action footwear apparel brand. In 1978, the Sk8 Hi was first introduced designed by skaters specifically for the market of skateboarding, since then the brand has been embraced by the fashion and music industries and in 2016 is now a household name brand.

The beautiful Natalie Westling The “Original Skater Girl” has now taken on the Vans 2016 “Off The Wall” campaign. With her introduction to the modelling world in 2014, Westling has had the pleasure of working with huge fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford but we think she has really found her niche collaborating Vans. Herself, a skater from the age of 3, and rocking her effortlessly cool tomboy style enhances the freedom that this brand offers overall to each individual. Westling, also dedicated her first two tattoos to her passion of skateboarding including on her right arm the vans logo therefore proved a perfect candidate to represent the campaign.

 Joining Natalie Westling on this campaign Vans unites legendary skateboarder Steve Caballero, and Grammy nominated artist Syd The Kid, in addition the professional aussie surfer and vans team rider, Wade Goodall to name a few. This campaign is set to discover the history of the Sk8 Hi and how the brand has influenced each individual throughout their lives. Vans have creatively captured photographs of each ambassador of the brand and portrayed their unique connection to the Sk8 Hi.
