Splendour Wrap Up

Splendour rolled into the North Byron Parklands last Thursday, the 21st of July and along with it came over 36,000 punters - three days of good vibes, outfits that took hours to plan, and music coming from every which direction. North Byron Park Lands was turned into an mélange of Australian music culture, swamped with groups of party goers, a tipi forests, dancing and an atmosphere like no other. There was an unquestionable radiance to the entire weekend, evident from the infectious smiles of the fans. There was something magical about the whole weekend - one that saw no rain.

Mambo shone at Splendour, showing off their four pillars of art, surf, music and humour. With their distinctive satirical designs, Mambo proved that their time developing young artistic talent to produce quality clothing, innovative artworks and products had paid off. Bloggers Dominique Elissa (@dominiqueelissa) and Abbie Weir (abbweir) were spotted hanging around the Mambo guitar installation rocking the special edition Mambo X SITG shirts.

Blogger Sophie Burns (@sophburns_) was seen rocking Rollas overalls. Teaming them up with a cute white lace top and brown felt hat, she styled them perfectly. Overalls were a popular choice for many festival goers as a quick change of your top underneath could take them from hot day to chilly night.

Booseeka, a duo, brought their electronic hip-hop to Splendour. Sporting a TCSS shirt, they took to the Mix-Up stage and brought the house down. With many festival goers still unfamiliar the act at the beginning of their set, Booseeka made sure they wouldn't be forgetting their name anytime soon.

The line up included The Strokes, The Cure, Flume, Sticky Fingers, The 1975, Hayden James, Jack Garrett, Ziggy Alberts, LDRU, Little May, Slumberjack, and many more.

Only 360 days until the next Splendour.
