FACE HALO X JESS GYLYNNE LIVE AT BRIT AWARDS 2019

English pop star Jess Glynne  transfixed the audience when she used the Face Halo Original makeup remover (an Australian brand founded by the amazing Lizzy Pike)  live on stage at the Brit Awards 2019 during her performance of ‘Thursday’. A powerful performance that is going viral around the world for its empowering feminist message. 

During this powerful performance, Jess Glynne began to remove her fake eyelashes and wipe off her eye makeup using Face Halo while singing the lyrics "I won't wear makeup on Thursday / 'Cause who I am is enough”. Joined by a legion of women behind her removing their make up also, this marked a strong statement about the need to fight against unrealistic beauty standards in society. 

Face Halo stand by this, being a growing Australian brand who have a strong positioning on sustainability with their range of re-usable, ‘Halo-tech' makeup removers available online and in Priceline pharmacies. Each Face Halo remover replaces 500 traditional makeup wipes (which would other end up in landfill) and can be used for up to 200 machine washes.

Fans of Jess started simultaneously removing their make up online during her incredible performance and posting comments about how inspiring this was for young girls and women across the globe.
